Q:  What is the purpose of your ministry?

We are a group of volunteers who sort donated food items and distribute them to those in need in our county.  We have a "grocery style" set up located in the back of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa.

Q:  How frequently do you meet?

We have a board meeting every 3 months where 1 representative from each church comes together to evaluate the needs of the ministry.

Q:  How does someone become involved?

If you are interested in helping, please contact the rectory or Ken & Sue Pester.  We can add you to our list of volunteers.

Q:  Are you ever in need of volunteers?
We can always use help with sorting and organizing the food items.

Q:  How long has the ministry been serving the parish?
We have been meeting with the area churches for many years.

Q:  How do you communicate activities with the Parish?

We submit notices in the bulletin.  From time to time, we will contact schools and organizations when we are running low on supplies.
